With so many things to do in the Wisconsin Dells, it’d be easy to overlook a few spots. However, there’s one place you don’t want to pass up – and it’s the city’s magical river walk. Offering a front-row view of the Wisconsin River and its sandstone bluffs, the short-and-sweet trek will transport you to another world.
When the weather is too nice to stay indoors...
...then walk, bike, or run the Dells Scenic Riverwalk.
The paved recreational path begins on Broadway in the Dells River Arts District.
The Dells River Arts District is one of the most popular places in Wisconsin.
Paved and just a ½ mile long...
...it’s a suitable trek for all ages and skill levels.
Providing the perfect escape from the crowds...
...the trail is brimming with breathtaking beauty all year long.
Meandering along the Wisconsin River, it affords phenomenal waterfront vistas to those trekking along its path.
A lush forested landscape and close-up views of the Dells’ famous sandstone bluffs are also among the path’s perks.
So make sure to have a camera handy so you can take some of your own amazing photographs.
There’s more to the Riverwalk than immense natural beauty, though.
It really is a great paved trail in Wisconsin.
Interpretive monuments, which tell the history of Wisconsin Dells, dot the trail.
And that’s in addition to benches and game tables for some interactive play.
And don't worry, if you get hungry you'll find something to satisfy that here too.
Also located along the Dells Scenic Riverwalk, are several great eateries that make for a great detour.
At any of those places, you receive a lot of great benefits.
These include great grub, craft cocktails, and many with outdoor seating overlooking the Wisconsin River.
For more information on the Dells Scenic Riverwalk, call the Wisconsin Dells Visitor and Convention Bureau at (800) 223-3557. You can also visit the Wisconsin Dells website as well as the Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau Facebook page.
