If you need a really, really big dose of Christmas cheer, look no further than the Wisconsin Christmas Carnival of Lights. The holiday light extravaganza is back this year and it’s bigger and brighter than ever. Here’s why you should make plans to visit this amazing Christmas display.
The Wisconsin Christmas Carnival of Lights is a 1.6-mile drive-thru holiday light show located in southeast Wisconsin. It’s in Caledonia, about 20 minutes south of Milwaukee.
The displays aren’t just bright. They are synchronized to music and every display is handcrafted and one of a kind. Trees as tall as 60 feet are decorated for the show!
The show is held at Jellystone Park Campground & Resort and it’s the largest in the region. The route winds through the campground roads and takes visitors through some dazzling displays. Turn up the holiday music and take it in!
While this drive is an amazing auto tour, there are other ways to take in the show. For a small fee, you can book a ticket on Santa’s sleigh or ride a golf cart holiday train!
Before leaving the carnival, you may want to stop by Santa’s Workshop\ to pay the big guy a visit. The shop also sells a variety of festive items, including hot cocoa, soft-serve ice cream, and an exclusive Christmas book.
The event benefits a number of good causes, including Ronald McDonald House Charities, so you can feel good enjoying the show!
People drive from all over the state for this event, so it’s a good idea to book tickets in advance. You can book them online here! If you can't make it to the Christmas Carnival of Lights, there are some more dazzling displays to savor this season.
