When summer rolls around in West Virginia, one of the things we always look forward to are fireworks! If you've been wondering, "Where can I go to watch fireworks near me?" we have some answers! Here are a few of the best fireworks displays across West Virginia for 2024.
1. Fireworks In Beckley
West Virginia's largest fireworks show is put on by the Eplings, owners of The Miners baseball team. Come enjoy a free game of baseball on July 5 at the Linda K. Epling Stadium and then stay for fireworks after the game!
2. Fireworks In Charleston
There's fun to be had in Charleston on July 4! Festivities start early in the day (and include a Sternwheel Regatta Carnival!), but the actual fireworks don't begin until 9:30 at Haddad Riverfront Park.
3. Fireworks In Huntington
In Huntington, you can catch fireworks on July 3 and July 4! On July 3, fireworks follow a patriotic orchestral performance at 10th Street and Veterans Memorial Boulevard. On July 4, fireworks will be launched from the Robert Newlon Airpark (there's a $5 per vehicle charge for entrance to the airpark). The city will also be hosting a free fireworks display on July 4 from the Huntington University cross country trail.
4. Fireworks In Morgantown
This year, Morgantown will host a Fourth of July celebration complete with food trucks, fireworks, and more at the Hazel Ruby McQuain Amphitheater. Show up anytime after 7:00 p.m. for food, but before 10:00 p.m. when the fireworks start!

Did you know that the USA’s Largest Small Town Independence Day Celebration is right here in West Virginia? Welcome to the Ripley 4th of July Celebration, which has been going strong since the late 1800s. The celebration runs from July 2 to July 6, but the fireworks themselves will start at 10:00 p.m. on July 4.
