Small towns all over the mountain state often have a hometown restaurant everyone remembers - and still considers a go-to place for a nostalgic trip to the past while eating food that hasn't changed in decades. In Mercer County, that would be Lynn's - reportedly the only drive-in still open in this entire West Virginia county (according to the Mercer County CVB).
Anytime you're passing through Bluefield on Route 19, a short four-mile detour north will land you at the doorstep of this iconic eatery that first opened way back in 1950.
Since that day, Lynn's Drive-In hasn't changed. It still offers up the best hot dog in the county, coupled with curbside service with a smile.
From their hot dogs that everyone is simply wild about, to their shakes and fried pickles (and more!) Lynn's cooks up a flavorful storm of delicious American fare — and has done so for going on 70 years.
Whether you want to eat in your car (and order from there too) or claim one of the many tables outside, you're sure to love getting the whole gang together and visiting this nostalgic and delicious eatery in Southern West Virginia.
Generations of families have called Lynn's Drive-In their home away from home. Have you tried it yet??
This map lets you know just how easy it is to detour to Lynn's for a nostalgic experience you won't forget!
