One of our favorite aspects about the holiday season is the drive-thru Christmas lights in West Virginia and watching how all of the different areas of our state begin to transform. First, West Virginians are usually hit with a fresh layer of snow, motivating us to jump right into our favorite time of year and begin decorating. Next comes the exciting fact that our most beloved holiday traditions and attractions begin to pop up around the Mountain State, bringing joy to all who make their way out to celebrate. If you're ready to experience all that winter has to offer, then see what it's like to go for a drive through our state's most dazzling light display on Dec. 7 through 22, 2023!
Now's the time of year when serious people start chipping in to decorate for the upcoming annual WV State Farm Museum Christmas Light Drive-Thru.
The organizers need volunteers, so call 304-675-5727 ASAP if you would like to decorate a building this year. Invite your civic organization, your business, or a group of family and friends to chip in.
Just outside of Point Pleasant in Mason County, the West Virginia drive-thru Christmas lights becomes a magical kingdom during the holidays.
It takes weeks upon weeks of hard work and effort to get this incredible display of lights all ready to go.
West Virginians can visit the WV State Farm Museum for free to see all 120 acres completely decked out in lights and glowing displays.
Donations are always appreciated to keep the lights on.

See the nativity lit up as it tells the story of that first Christmas so long ago.
Made up of more than 3 million lights, you'll drive through the twinkling display to witness every inch of the grounds shining bright for the holidays.
This tradition has warmed our hearts for many years.
Stop in at the Country Store and Kitchen for delicious treats, crafts, and collectibles.
And of course, Santa Claus will be in there too, Thursday through Sunday evenings, to tell him your Christmas wishes.
For nearly 20 years, this must-see event grows more spectacular every Christmas season.
