We still have several months to go before Christmas is on the horizon, but that doesn't mean you can't start the preparations early. There's one special place in West Virginia where you can go and find the Christmas spirit, any time of year. Take a look!
This little Christmas shop can be found at the historic Amtrak station at White Sulphur Springs.
The train station was built in 1930 by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway, to serve guests of the Greenbrier Resort. Amtrak still services the station today.
The Greenbrier now owns the depot building, and has converted the building into a Christmas shop.
The Christmas spirit can be found here all year round!
The pillars of the building are painted to look like candy canes.
Inside, you'll find a great assortment of all sorts of Christmas wonders.
Pick up ornaments and decorations here to prepare for the next holiday season.
Many of the ornaments are made by local West Virginia artists.
You'll find plenty of collectible items, like Byer's Choice dolls made especially for the Greenbrier.
After visiting the Christmas Shop at the Depot, head across the street to the historic Greenbrier to check out the activities there.
Christmas Shop at the Depot can be found at 300 W Main St, White Sulphur Springs, WV 24986. Or click here for information about how to get there by train.
The Greenbrier has no shortage of things to do for its guests. You can even tour a once top-secret underground bunker! It's a special treat to discover these adventures found only in West Virginia.
