Ready or not, the holidays are upon us. And although that means some extra busyness, it also means plenty of opportunities to celebrate, including a trip through the best drive-thru Christmas lights in West Virginia: Celebration of Lights in Fairmont.
It's getting to be that time of year again...when it's time to hop in the car and head to a drive-through light festival near you! And if you live anywhere close to Morris Park in Fairmont, then you're in luck...the Celebration of Lights the park is famous for each December is going to be extra good this year.
As always, it will stretch the full length of the 1.3-mile loop through Morris Park. Along each side of the road, expect to see colorful characters and glowing scenes packed into every square foot of space.
Celebration of Lights begins the day after Thanksgiving at 6 p.m. The gate closes at 10 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online this year, and are $10 per car and $30 per bus.
If you plan to drive the 1.3-mile loop, come on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night.
If you prefer to walk the circle, you can do so on Wednesdays, for $5 per person.
The show closes for the season on Dec. 30, so don't wait to come to peruse this magical display of colorful and bright holiday spirit!
Even Santa knows about Celebration of Lights; keep your eyes peeled, because you never know when you might see him out and about spreading some Christmas cheer.
