Many of the small towns on my previous post are actually pretty large when compared to communities with a population under 500! Have you visited any of these super tiny towns in our state before?
1. Acme
In the South Fork Valley, between the North Cascade mountains and Lake Whatcom. Population: 246
2. Uniontown
Whitman County, near the Idaho border. 313+ residents.
3. Hamilton
Near Lyman in Skagit County. Approximate population: 300
4. Northport
About 295 people live in this town along the Columbia River in Stevens County.
5. Ashford
Location: Pierce County, near Mount Rainier National Park. About 217+ people in the area.
6. Deming
Whatcom County, west of Welcome. Population: 353
7. Maple Falls
In Whatcom County near Kendall, Glacier, and Welcome. Population: 324
8. Metaline, and Metaline Falls
Located in Northeastern Washington in Pend Oreille County.
Metaline: 171+ residents. Metaline Falls: 238+ residents.
9. Wishram
Klickitat County, next to the Columbia River. Population: 213
10. Humptulips
SR-101 runs through this uniquely-named town of about 255+ people in Grays Harbor County.
11. Malden
In Whitman County, near Rosalia. Population: 202+
12. Neilton
Near Moclips and Humptulips in Grays Harbor County. Approximately 345 residents.
13. Endicott
Whitman County near Diamond and Colfax. About 290+ people around town.
14. Skykomish
Located by Money Creek and Beckler River campgrounds in King County. About 205+ residents.
15. Cusick
204+ residents live here along the Pend Oreille River.
16. Mansfield
Near Withrow and Chelan. Population: 330+
17. Moclips
Approximately 207+ people live here in Grays Harbor County by the coast.
18. Washtucna
Adams County, west of Pullman. Inhabitants: 207+
19. Riverside
Okanogan County, north of Omak. 275+ residents.
20. Almira
By Wilbur in Lincoln County. As of the most recent census, the population is 273.
