And the latest fitness trend to sweep Washington is something all animal lovers will enjoy.
Welcome to the Wobbly Ranch, a very special "yoga studio."
At this ranch, you do yoga with goats.
This is a real thing, and it's as amazing as it looks.
The Wobbly Ranch is located in Snohomish, and it has a heartwarming story.
The Wobbly Ranch is a goat sanctuary for goats that are a little "wobbly" for whatever reason (amputees, developmental issues, etc.). To help offset some of the costs of giving the goats a nice home, weekly goat yoga classes are offered.
Each Goat Yoga Class is two hours long.
The first hour is dedicated to an instructor-led yoga class, which you'll complete while the goats roam around you and help you with your technique. For the second hour, you get to relax and hang out with the goats.
These goats are amazing and friendly little creatures, so this experience is a pleasure.
A good workout for a great cause -- it really doesn't get any better.
Each Goat Yoga session costs $35, and the classes sell out fast.
Tickets are available on the Wobbly Ranch website.
And if you'd rather just come to meet the goats, that's fine.
If you want to skip yoga and just pet the Wobblies, you can pay $20 and go during the 3-hour class window.
The Wobbly Ranch isn't the only place to offer goat yoga (you can also do Gig Harbor Goat Yoga, for one), but it seems to be the most popular. If you're an animal lover, you might enjoy check out some of these local spots.
