Fall in Virginia is a festive time. Changing leaves, Halloween decor, and the opportunity to enjoy beautiful weather in the great outdoors. One of the best fall festivals in Virginia is called Yorktoberfest. As you might have guessed from the clever name, it's an Oktoberfest-style festival taking place in the charming town of Yorktown, Virginia. So gather your friends and family and prepare to celebrate in style on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
Hosted by the York County Chamber of Commerce, the annual Yorktoberfest is one that you won't want to miss!
So, what exactly is Yorktoberfest? Well, to start, it's a celebration of beer. According to the website, "We have beer, you bring friends and family." Does it get much better than that?
And while beer is definitely at the heart of the festivities, you'll find no shortage of other drinks to enjoy, from local wine to non-alcoholic options too.
Plus, there will be food. And lots of it! Some of past years' food truck options include Get Cheesy, Healthy Eats, Pop's Kettle Corn, and Boyd's Dogs.
There are a variety of ticket options to choose from too. Non-Alcoholic General Admission starts at just $10!
No matter your reason for attending, you're bound to make memories that will last you a lifetime.
You can expect a lot of fun across the event - music, food, vendors, and over 30 beers to sample from open to close!
This year's Yorktoberfest is scheduled for October 27, 2024, from 12 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. with the rain date scheduled for November 3, 2024, if needed. Like past years, VIP entry will be available for those who want to kick off the fun an hour early. Want to know all the details as they're announced?
