Throughout the year, the Joseph Smith Birthplace Memorial stands as a place for people to gather and commemorate the life of Joseph Smith, the first president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
But around the holidays, the memorial is illuminated with beautiful, colorful Christmas lights.
There's even a nativity scene on display in front of the monument.
Christmas lights are carefully strung through the branches of the pine trees...
...and the road to get to the memorial is turned into a beautiful light tunnel with a blue star guiding the way.
