I love the Fourth of July. I get excited about the parades, barbecues, and, especially, the fireworks. Several cities throughout Utah host dazzling fireworks shows that will fill you with patriotism and put a smile on your face. But with several displays all across the state, you may find yourself asking, “Where to watch fireworks near me?” The following are just a handful of the best Fourth of July fireworks shows in Utah.
1. Stadium of Fire, Provo
One of the most popular and highly anticipated Fourth of July events is Stadium of Fire at Lavell Edwards Stadium in Provo. Not only is there a spectacular fireworks show, but you’ll enjoy a concert by the Jonas Brothers and a flyover by F-35 Jets from Hill Air Force Base, watch the arrival of the Rockwell Uncommon Skydive Team, and even be impressed by the 300-member Las Vegas-based Zion’s Youth Symphony and Chorus. Tickets are required for entry.
2. Thanksgiving Point’s Freedom Celebration, Lehi
Another incredible fireworks display in Utah County is Thanksgiving Point’s Freedom Celebration. This free event takes place at Electric Park and you’ll enjoy a show that is synchronized to music playing on The Bull 93.3 FM radio. The gates to the park open at 4 p.m. and the show begins at 10 p.m.
3. Pleasant Grove City Firework Display, Pleasant Grove
You’ll love the small-town feel of the fireworks show in Pleasant Grove. This display begins at dark and takes place at Discovery Park. I recommend you arrive early as parking can be limited inside the park and on surrounding streets. However, a little tip: look for additional parking in many of the nearby church parking lots.
4. 4th of July at the Gateway, Salt Lake City
Head to downtown SLC for an incredible fireworks display at The Gateway. This event is hosted by Camber Apartments and Homes and activities begin at 6 p.m. on July 4. This family-friendly event features live music on two stages, karaoke, yard games, face painting, vendors, and so much more. The fireworks begin at 10 p.m.
5. Firework Show 2024 at Willow Park, Logan
If you find yourself in Cache Valley for this summer holiday, you won’t want to miss the Firework Show at Willow Park. This highly-anticipated event begins at 10 p.m. at the popular park. You’ll want to arrive early to find a seat and give yourself plenty of time to leave when the display is over.
6. Kanab Fourth, Kanab
The small town of Kanab knows how to show its patriotism each 4th of July. This southern Utah town hosts a full day of activities beginning with cannons awakening the town at 6 a.m., followed by a Color Fun Run 5K and parade. There are also vendors, activities, and entertainment at Jacob Hamblin Park. The evening ends with a fireworks show at Jacob Hamblin Park and an after-fireworks dance party.
