If there's one thing that's certain, it's that we're living in uncertain times. Thanks to COVID-19, weddings have been postponed, festivals all over the country have cancelled, and anniversary celebrations have been simplified. At Thanksgiving Point, it's a double-whammy. The annual tulip festival celebrates its 25th anniversary this year...but no one will be present to see all the pretty tulips, since it's currently closed to the public.
No worries! Thanksgiving Point is still celebrating its beautiful blooms with a virtual festival. Check it out:
Thanksgiving Point has plenty to see and do year-round. From the gigantic T-rex at its Museum of Ancient Life, to the smallest, most delicate tulip at Ashton Garden's Tulip Festival, there's something for everyone here.
2020 marks the 25th anniversary of Thanksgiving Point's annual Tulip Festival, which draws thousands to Ashton Gardens every spring.
Unfortunately, the gardens are closed to the public this year, due to COVID-19. While we're sad that we won't get to see these stunning tulip displays in person this year, we're happy to announce that the festival is still happening!
This year's festival has gone virtual, so you can enjoy it right from the safety and comfort of your own home.
Every day at noon, visit Thanksgiving Point's Facebook page for a live presentation. You can also scroll through the feed to see past videos from the festival.
The festival also presents virtual tours on its YouTube channel.
