Just about every Utah family has great memories of train rides on the Heber Valley Historic Railroad. With Covid-19 as part of our daily lives lately, it's important to wear masks and practice social distancing to stay safe and healthy, and the railroad has put several safety measures in place so you can enjoy a socially distant ride through the rural landscape.
A train ride on the Heber Valley Railroad is a fun adventure that everyone in the family will enjoy, and the railroad has all the safety protocols in place to keep you healthy this summer.
Staff is cleaning and sanitizing the train to keep surfaces free of germs...
...and everyone from on-board hosts to ticket takers are wearing face masks at all times.
Guests are also required to wear face masks while waiting at the train depot, boarding, and deboarding.
Groups are seated together, and are spread out for social distancing. Once aboard, most guests are able to remove their masks for the ride. If members of your group have purchased tickets separately, make sure to contact the ticket office in advance to let them know that you'd like to sit together.
You can reach the ticket office at 435.654.5601.
Of course, you can also have a whole lot of fun while wearing your mask! These folks on the Wild West Train decided to modify their face masks to fit in with their attire.
