You might say that Utah's weather has been a bit on the unpredictable side lately. Just as we were all set for summer...it snowed again! Here's a cool place that's perfect for the whole family - rain or shine.
Visit the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi.
The museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
The Museum of Ancient Life claims to have the largest collection of full skeleton dinosaur displays in the world, and you'll be amazed at the 60 complete mounted skeletons here.
In addition to the regular dinosaur skeleton displays, you'll find some creative displays like this one.
You'll even see some ancient fish.
Watch scientists at work in the lab.
The museum is the workplace for real paleontologists who are working to unearth a 150-million-year-old barosaurus.
At the Junior Paleo Lab, you can prepare your very own fish fossil, and even take it home with you.
Your kids will want to spend a lot of time at the water and sand table. Luckily, you'll find plenty of benches to sit on while they entertain themselves.
Pretend like you're a paleontologist and dig for dinosaur bones.
Build your own dinosaur.
