In my mind, the perfect afternoon includes several hours perusing the shelves in a used bookstore. If you feel the same way, you'll definitely want to visit this humongous used bookstore in downtown Salt Lake City. Take a look:
Ken Sanders Rare Books is located in downtown Salt Lake City at 268 S. 200 E.. It's been a favorite of Utah book lovers since 1997.
When you visit this bookstore, the fun starts outside! Check out the murals on both sides of the buildings...
...then make your way to the front of the store, where you'll find bookshelves on the outside of the building.
If you love a good bargain, you'll want to spend some time looking through the shelves and perusing the cart that's full of discounted books.
Step inside the store and you'll see just how big it really is inside. It's impossible to estimate how many books inhabit this space. One thing's for sure: after an afternoon here, you're certain to find several books to take home.
Most of the shelves reach all the way to the ceiling.
There are books in just about every available surface in the store. You'll want to plan on spending an entire afternoon here.
