This fall, you'll want to mark your calendars because there's a glowing pumpkin trail returning to Utah that you won't want to miss. This annual favorite is the ultimate family-friendly Halloween event that will mesmerize just about everyone. This outdoor festival features more than a half-mile walking path of over 5,000 hand-carved fresh and synthetic pumpkins, and larger that life displays that you simply have to see to believe. Clear your schedule, because Pumpkin Nights is just around the corner and it's the best pumpkin glow in Utah.
Located at the Utah State Fair Grounds, Pumpkin Nights is a family-friendly, glowing pumpkin walk that's held every year in October. Families with kids of all ages will especially love this themed festival.

This beautiful outdoor festival features a half-mile-long trail that is illuminated by thousands of glowing pumpkins, each one hand-carved and unique. Some of the displays are larger than life, like a 40-foot dragon.
With eight different lands to visit, you'll want to allow plenty of time to see all 3,000 carved pumpkins and synthetic "funkins" here. And be sure to have your camera ready, because you'll want to take plenty of pictures while you're here.
The pumpkins here are a mix of real and artificial. Real pumpkins are hand-carved right onsite, and you might even see a pumpkin-carving artist at work while you're here.
Other pumpkins are artificial so that they can be part of larger sculptures that won't rot and collapse. You won't believe some of the creations you'll see here! These whimsical jack-o-lanterns will quickly put you in the Halloween spirit.
You'll enjoy live entertainment, too. Check out the fire breathers, pumpkin artists, and dancers.
This glowing pumpkin walk is perfect for all ages. While there are some Halloween effects like fog and skeletons, no ghouls will jump out to scare little ones, and you won't find any gory displays here. So bring even the tiniest of tots, they will absolutely love it.
Pumpkin Central is the heart of the festival, and you'll find plenty of photo-worthy backdrops to document your evening of fall fun.
You'll also find plenty of snacks, along with hot cocoa to warm you up on a chilly, fall evening.
Tickets may be purchased in advance. You'll select a 30-minute window on the date of your choice, then enter at that time. Once you're in, you can stay as long as you'd like.
