Have you ever wished you could travel to outer space? Do you watch Star Trek and long to complete space missions in the far reaches of the universe? Now you can! Discovery Space Center in Pleasant Grove is an interactive experience in a state-of-the-art simulated spaceship, and you get to choose the kind of adventure you'll have.
You'll start with a briefing, where you be given a star fleet uniform and the details of your mission.
Then, climb aboard one of two ships: the UCS Dauntless or the UCS Everest. They're both equipped to look exactly like the bridge of a star ship, with work stations, computers and other realistic furnishings.
Everyone on the crew will have their own jobs during the mission, and you'll all work together to navigate through the universe.
During the mission, you'll experience many scenarios, and decide how to handle each. Every crew member will have an impact on the outcome of the mission because you'll be creating your own fate as you go.
Of course, not every mission goes smoothly. When disaster happens, you'll work together as a team to pull through.
While you're inside the star ship simulator, you might even forget that you're just engaging in interactive play. You'll encounter lots of challenges, and may even be visited by actors who will present you with some tough decisions. See if your crew is up for the challenge!
Discover Space Center is a great place for your next birthday party.
