The Fourth of July is right around the corner - have you figured out your fireworks plans yet? Last year, we gave you a list of the patriotic holiday celebrations all around the state. This year, we’re highlighting five of the biggest entertainment and fireworks shows, plus we’ve listed all the smaller, hometown celebrations, too! Here’s a list of some amazing fireworks shows all around the state.
1. Four Nights In A Row!: Oakley Recreation Complex, Oakley
There’s nothing like a rodeo on the Fourth of July! See the PRCA rodeo starting on starting at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30th, Friday, July 1st, Saturday, July 2nd and Monday, July 4th. Fireworks display every night after the rodeo. 4300 N. SR-32, Oakley.
2. Friday: Rio Tinto Stadium, Sandy
Watch the Real Salt Lake vs. DC United soccer game, then stay for fireworks! The game starts at 8:30 p.m.; fireworks afterwards. 9256 S. State Street, Sandy.
3. Friday: USU Maverik Stadium, Logan
Don’t miss the Freedom Fireworks Show in Logan on the Utah State University campus. Gates open at 7:00 p.m.; entertainment starts at 8:00 p.m. and includes Caleb Chapman’s Crescent Super Band, Journey Unlimited The Tribute, and Ryan Innes. Fireworks at dark. 899 E. 1000 N., Logan.
4. Saturday: Smith’s Ballpark, Salt Lake City
Enjoy the Salt Lake Bees game (Salt Lake Bees vs. Fresno Grizzlies), then take your blanket right down onto the field to enjoy the fireworks. The game starts at 6:30 p.m. 77 W. 1300 S., Salt Lake City.
5. Saturday: Stadium of Fire, Provo
The 36th annual Stadium of Fire (LaVell Edwards Stadium) features Tim McGraw in concert. Entertainment begins at 8:00 p.m., followed by fireworks. This is one of the largest Fourth of July celebrations in the country! 1700 N. Canyon Road, Provo.
