I'm not ashamed to say that some of my favorite outfits are from Goodwill. Why pay exorbitant amounts of money for something as trivial as clothing when you can find comparable styles for a fraction of the cost? That being said, Texas is full of some amazing thrift and antique stores where you can find incredible bargains on everything from apparel to furniture to vintage knick-knacks. Here are seven of the absolute best thrift stores in Texas:
1. Thrift Giant, Dallas
Everything in this store is color-coded by price, so sifting through the seemingly endless selections won't seem like such a daunting task. Many of the items are of good quality as well, from high thread count sheets to designer purses. If you can get awesome items at a fraction of the cost, why wouldn't you? 2. Thrift Town, Austin
If you're looking for an upgraded Goodwill for bargain hunting in Texas, this is the jackpot. You'll find great deals on shoes, designer handbags, clothes, and pretty much everything else your heart could possibly desire. They also have major sales on holidays and you can get discounts if you become a VIP member. There are additional locations in Dallas and San Antonio. 3. The Cottage Shop, Houston
Known mostly for its clothing selection, The Cottage Shop is full of unique pieces - both modern and vintage. Their shoe selection is also noteworthy, and the proceeds go towards The Women's Home so you can feel rewarded for supporting a good cause. 4. Lula B's, Dallas

You'll have so much fun perusing all the bits and bobs here. From miscellaneous antiques to grandiose paintings and everything in between, you could easily spend hours browsing without even realizing it. 7. Feathers Boutique, Austin
Ladies, this one's for you. Feathers is full of vintage women's clothing and shoes from the 1920s all the way up to the 90s.
