The Texas Arts and Crafts Fair in Ingram features over 120 vendors, live music, food, and kid-friendly activities, set against the scenic backdrop of the Guadalupe River.
For almost 50 years, more than 5,000 visitors have descended on the tiny town of Ingram each September for the annual Texas Arts and Crafts Fair. With over 120 vendors offering everything from jewelry to home décor - all handmade, of course - plus live music, food, and even kid-friendly activities, this one-of-a-kind event is totally bucket-list-worthy.
Mark your calendars for September 25 and 26 - the annual Texas Arts and Crafts Fair is returning to Ingram for a weekend of fun and creative expression.
As you peruse the stalls, take a moment to admire the beautiful scenery that surrounds the fair. With the pristine Guadalupe River as a backdrop, visitors get to enjoy awe-inspiring views while shopping.
Immediately upon arrival, you'll understand why more than 5,000 people attend the fair yearly.
There, you'll see displays by eight featured artists of all different categories. Whether you're a fan of watercolor paintings or fine jewelry, these folks are the best of the best in their respective fields.
Other festivities include live music, gourmet food, and craft beer.
Hours are 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday.

3. Santa Land - Tyler
For all you East Texas folks, Santa Land is the place to be when you're on the hunt for some of the best Christmas lights in Texas. Dallas Zoo Lights has gone drive-thru for previous years and went back to foot traffic in recent years. However, you'll still want to carve out some time to see this whimsical light display. It's the same magical experience you know and love, with more than a million lights in addition to ethereal lanterns depicting various zoo animals. Be sure to get your tickets in advance, this is one popular event!
5. Prairie Lights - Grand Prairie
Drive-thru from the start, Prairie Lights has been delighting North Texans at Christmastime for years. The two-mile path features 4 million lights, drive-thru concessions, and - of course - the famous grand finale light tunnel. Skip the line and grab a fast pass on the website.

6. Dasher's Light Show - Houston
Among the most magical Houston-area light displays of them all, Dasher's Light Show has over a million lights synchronized to classic holiday tunes at each of its locations. Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L.
