There's something beautiful and fascinating about a historic theater. Whether it's the gorgeous exterior design or architecture, the history, magnificent seasons of performers that filter through, you need to know EXACTLY where to go when it comes to Tennessee. We've found a great group for you, too!
11) Antoinette Hall - Pulaski
Restore Antoinette has been the cry of Pulaski, recently. Built in 1868, this historic hall is an opera house that once held Tennessee tight to its seats, in awe of the talent that graced the stage.
10) Belcourt Theater - Nashville
The entirety of the theater has been restored, giving you the option to take in an indie flick in the fun and hoppin' Hillsboro Village. Check out their Rifftrax nights and midnight movies for an epic date night.
9) Bijou Theatre - Knoxville
Considered haunted and vibrantly exciting, the Bijou Theatre is located in downtown Knoxville. You can see everything from a concert to a movie, catering to every audience.

Although you can't catch a show here any longer, weddings are absolute MADE for a place like this. Not the other way around, if you get our drift.
7) Franklin Theatre - Franklin
This gorgeous theatre in downtown Franklin has movie specials throughout the year, so you can catch 'It's A Wonderful Life" in the winter or catch a performance year 'round.
6) Luez Theatre - Bolivar
This gem of the south is located in West Tennessee. You may want to donate to save it, though - this gorgeous place may go the way of the dinosaurs if we don't take action.
5) Orpheum Theatre - Memphis
This stunning one stop shop in Memphis hosts Broadway shows and live performances throughout the year. Grab a season pass to get in on the action!

2) State Theatre - Kingsport
Built in 1936, up to 575 people can take in a special performance in the seat of history, right here in gorgeous East Tennessee.

The Tennessee Theatre was built in 1927 and it is the lynchpin of East Tennessee entertainment. Huge, beautiful and boasting some of the most prestigious speakers and performers out there, this is one venue you can't afford to miss.
