It's summertime, and that means most folks are jonesin' for a bit of fun in the sun. Just because you're going out to eat doesn't mean you have to miss out on a bit of good-natured competition. There are seven restaurants here in Nashville that cater to the outgoing and competitive, even those good-natured folks who pull some solid talent seemingly out of nowhere. Snag some friends and head to the car - we have the rest covered.
7. TailGate Beer - 7300 Charlotte Pike
Tailgate Beer touts itself as West Nashville's only brewery, which is surprising considering all of the breweries that have popped up in Nashville recently. Living up to their name, they offer all of the best tailgating games, like cornhole and ladder ball.
6. East Nashville Beer Works - 320 E Trinity Lane
East Nashville Beer Works operates with the intention of making their space community focused. Their beer garden features games of cornhole and ladder ball (known to some as hillbilly golf). Be sure not to miss this up-and-coming neighborhood spot!
5. Coco's Italian Market - 411 51st Ave N
Coco's is one of the best Italian restaurants in Nashville. Enjoy some of their homemade pasta sauce, just like your grandma used to make (but better). Make sure to enjoy a game of bocce ball on the patio to get the full experience.
4. Burger Up - 401 Cool Springs Blvd
The Cool Springs location of Burger Up has a nice outdoor patio where customers can play a good game of cornhole. They even have golf holes in the patio along with putters and golf balls if you want to design your own putt putt course!
3. Pinewood Social - 33 Peabody Street
Located in downtown, Pinewood is a staple in the Nashville food scene. Though they're known for their indoor bowling alley, they also offer games on their patio, including bocce ball and two pools.
2. Two Bits - 1520 Demonbreun Street
Two Bits is known for their many retro arcade games, 70+ board and card games, and gaming consoles that you can play while enjoying your beverages from the bar. They also have a free shuffleboard court on their patio!
1. Clyde's On Church - 1700 Church Street
The recently opened Clyde's on Church is perfect for game lovers. They've got plenty of games indoors for their patrons to enjoy, but it's the ping pong tables on their patio that make Clyde's stand out as having one of the best patios in Nashville.
