When I think of things to do in the winter in Tennessee, snow tubing ranks high on my list. There is something so fun and thrilling about gliding over the snow down the hill at high rates of speed that makes me feel like a kid again. Big snows aren’t always a guarantee here in the South, though, so this particular activity can be a real hit or miss. However, at Pigeon Forge Snow, folks can enjoy a day of snow-filled fun anytime of the year. You could say this Tennessee attraction is *snow* much fun!
Pigeon Forge Snow is the first snow park in the state and we couldn’t be more thankful. I have had many tubing trips canceled due to weather, but this indoor winter wonderland isn’t subject to the elements so you never have to worry. Inside you will find rows of tubing lanes down the slope and real snow everywhere.
Whether you are experiencing a summer heat wave or an actual winter storm outside, Pigeon Forge Snow is always open to enjoy some tubing. Every day they make their own snow made 100% out of water so you will be experiencing the real thing. Despite being blanketed in sparkling snow, the temperature inside is a balmy 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit, so you can comfortably enjoy the snow without bundling up.
You can get tickets for an hour of snow tubing and it is a great way to spend your time enjoying a little winter fun.
Upgrade your tickets and add time for a little snow play. Dive in to make snow angels, snowmen, snow forts, and other snow-related creations.
When you are done, don’t forget to browse the store for souvenirs and (of course) indulge your sweet tooth with some candy before you go.
Snow tubing is one of those fun activities that is perfect for everyone from kids to grandparents. Bring your whole family for a memorable experience.
Pigeon Forge Snow in Tennessee is a unique and fun activity for the whole family. Being in the South having a cold and snowy winter isn’t always a guarantee, but at this snow park, you never have to worry. For more information, make sure you visit the Pigeon Forge Snow website.
