When I first drove by the Allandale Mansion in Kingsport, Tennessee, I knew immediately I needed to share this amazing place. On a street that is filled with modern shops and restaurants, this historical place just pops. It’s inviting and incredible to see but digging in further and you’ll find there is so much more to this property than curb appeal, and let me tell you this place has some serious curb appeal.
Allandale Mansion is a beautiful historic estate that makes an incredible first impression.
The rounded columns and architecture instantly makes it stand out from everything else on the road. The large lawn and perfectly manicured landscaping adds to this aesthetically pleasing space. I’m not the first to be astounded by the attention to detail and the skilled workmanship because this place is very popular for spectacular weddings. There are several places around the estate for lucky couples to tie the knot and all of it is very affordable to have a fairytale wedding.
The property lights up at night and might even be even more magical.
The way that the walkways light up, the gardens glow, and the mansion is illuminated just seems enchanting. Every inch of this estate is covered in thoughtful attention to detail and beauty. Just seeing the place lit up isn't the only thing you can do at night…

Dozens of people gather around on the lawn in camping chairs and blankets to enjoy a wide variety of musical talent. The Amphitheater was built to mirror the architectural design of the mansion and fits nicely on the property. Solar lights line the perimeter when the sun goes down and many entertaining shows have wooed guests for many years.

This open and rustic barn-style building has great views of the pond and enough room to host up to 150 guests. The estate also has several other event spaces that are absolutely picture-perfect, like the Heron Dome, or Harvey’s Barn.
