This small little paradise is tucked away at the confluence of the Cowen Reach (just below the mouth of Cowen Creek) and the Port Royal Sound. Since it's not oceanfront, per se, it means fewer crowds than the usual beachfront spots.
While you're in the neighborhood, take a stroll through the Fort Fremont Preserve.
There's a fort here built during the Spanish-American War that's rumored to be haunted.
