Rhode Island is an amazing place to be during the summer months and the 4th of July is no exception! Not only are there great festivals and parades occurring to celebrate Independence Day, there are also fireworks displays in Rhode Island that are out of this world! Anytime you can combine beautiful scenic views, sunsets, and gorgeous sandy beaches, you're in for a treat, and this is pretty much the norm for Rhode Islanders at this time of year.

1. Escobar's Farm, Portsmouth
Head to beautiful Escobar's Farm at 133 Middle Road in Portsmouth for the amazing yearly fireworks display over the cow pastures. The show starts at 9:30 p.m. on the 4th and you won't want to miss it!
2. Independence Park, Bristol
This magical annual fireworks display will be held on July 3rd at 9:30 p.m. Watch the sky come alive over the Bristol Harbor off of historic Thames Street.
3. Town Beach Pavilion, Block Island
Head to Block Island on July 3rd for an amazing fireworks display that can be seen from many stunning vantage points on the island. The Block Island Firworks Show of 2016 will kick off at 9:00 p.m.
4. Newport Harbor, Newport
If you're planning on going to Newport on the 4th of July this year, definitely head to the harbor at 9:15 p.m. for some classic Independence Day fireworks.
5. Old Mountain Field, South Kingstown
4th of July Fireworks can be seen at 875 Kingstown Road. This event lasts from 5:00-10:00 p.m. with live music and other entertainment prior to the fireworks display.
6. Misquamicut Beach, Westerly
Lovely Misquamicut Beach will host yet another fantastic fireworks show at dusk. Find this beautiful beach on Atlnatic Avenue in Westerly.
