With delicious food and local beer, there is no better place to attend a Fourth of July bash than in the Pacific Northwest. 1. Waterfront Blues Festival
As the largest fireworks display in all of Oregon,
Oregon Food Bank’s Waterfront Blues Festival celebrates the Fourth of July each year with a magnificent display of fireworks directly on the Willamette River. This year it starts at 10:05pm, so snag a prime spot in Tom McCall Waterfront Park!
2. Fort Dalles Fourth
To get out of the city to see some of the most beautiful fireworks in the open sky, drive to The Dalles for an extraordinary show. The show starts at 10pm, so pack your lawn chair and get out there to see 30 minutes of firework heaven.
3. Independence Day at Fort Vancouver
While synchronizing music to a spectacular firework show, Fort Vancouver has been celebrating Fourth of July for over 50 years and is less than 20 minutes away from downtown Portland. Starting at 10pm, this is a show you cannot miss!
4. Fourth of July Spectacular at Oaks Park
Oaks Park throws its own Independence Day bash, so plan to spend the day riding the rides and eating hot dogs while ending it with an unbelievable show of fireworks that begins at dusk.
5. Fourth of July in Hood River
Although it's a little bit of a trek outside of city lines, this is a Fourth of July celebration that all Portlander's hate to miss. Starting around 10pm, this display of fireworks with a backdrop of Mt. Hood is unbelievable.
