As the 4th of July approaches, and you are thinking "where are the best fireworks near me," look no further. In 2016 we told you about all fireworks shows in and around Portland, and this year we are back at it with even more fireworks shows than last year. Make your plans now, and get ready for the brightly lit spectacle that will take over the sky.
Portland Fireworks
1. Portland Pickles Game
Enjoy the fun of a Portland Pickles baseball game, and the exciting firework show at the end of the night games on either July 3 or 4th. Tickets range from $7 to $10 for pavilion or berm seating.
Walker Stadium is located at 4727 SE 92nd Avenue.
2. Waterfront Blues Festival
Spend the evening at the Waterfront Blues Festival before enjoying the spectacular firework show over the water, or simply head down to Waterfront Park for the illuminating show. Starting at 10:05 pm, this firework show is visible from any place downtown or on the eastside with a clear line of sight to the waterfront. It will be crowded, so if you are driving in, plan accordingly and get there is plenty of time to find parking.
Some possible viewing locations of this show around town include Mt. Tabor, the Eastbank Esplanade, the International Rose Test Garden, the Hawthorne Bridge, and Portland City Grille.
3. Oaks Amusement Park
One of the earlier shows in the area, the fireworks show at Oaks Park kicks off at dusk. Enjoy an evening of fast rides, roller skating and mini golf before the big show kicks of to celebrate in style.

Corbett Fireworks
Corbett Fun Fest
Just 22 miles east of Portland, the Corbett Fun Festival has been going strong since 1970. Featuring a full day of entertainment, this is a fun family event with music, games, a waterslide and much more.
Tickets are $10 and the festival is located at 35800 East Historic Columbia River Highway.
St Paul Fireworks
St Paul Rodeo
Going strong for over 80 years, this annual event is an exciting day of fun, capped off with an amazing firework show. Located 30 miles to the SW of the city, the St. Paul Rodeo is a fun event worth traveling for. Fireworks start at 10:15 pm and tickets range from $18 to $24 with a $2 discount per ticket for families.

Vancouver Fireworks
Ten miles to the north at Ft. Vancouver, there is an awe-inspiring firework display. Head across the river to see the Independence Day at Ft. Vancouver fireworks up close, or watch from across the Columbia River on in Portland. The show starts at 10:05 pm and is free. However, for the best view, Prime Viewing Seats are available for $50 for adults and $25 for children ages 6 to 17. Ft Vancouver is located at 612 E Reserve Street in Vancouver, WA.
West Linn Fireworks
The Star Spangled 4th of July Celebration will kick off at 6 pm, and features music from the country western Nash Brothers band. The show is free and takes place at Willamette Park. Fireworks begin after sundown.
