The signs for an attraction look so enticing that we just have to stop, but as soon as we walk through the door we know we've been had. Tucked in the Pittsburgh suburb of Swissvale, Trundle Manor blends right in with the rest of the classic American neighborhood.
When you walk through the front door, however, you'll automatically realize you're in for a fun and a unique experience. Before you can start your tour, you'll need offer a cash donation or...
Something a little more unique, such as a creepy collectible you've had stuffed in the back of your closet for years. Hard liquor is also welcomed.
So begins your tour of perhaps the strangest personal collection of macabre art - from old medical devices to "dead things."
Trundle Manor serves as both a museum and an artist's residence for owner Mr.Arm and Velda Von Minx.
Make sure you have the stomach for the tour that will give you a close-up look at such oddities as taxidermy. (Mr. Arm even says he's spontaneously done a little taxidermy during a tour.)
You'll also get to see jarred specimens, medical devices, and weird weaponry the likes of which you may not have seen before.
Don't forget to stop by the Gift Shop before you leave to pick up souvenirs that one might call as odd as the museum itself.
