Haunted, so local legend goes, by a family murdered by the father, the road promises to send chills down your spine. Oh, and that's just the beginning. Plenty of spirits are said to haunt Blue Mist Road.
6. Meander around a lavender farm.
Breathe in the sweet scent of lavender at the gorgeous Destiny Hill Lavender Farm. Give a pat to Luther, the farm's adorable donkey, and cross a picturesque footbridge. Plan a visit in the summer, too, for the annual lavender festival. This place is one of the most beautiful Pittsburgh hidden gems.

The incline features a 70.9 percent grade. You'll travel to the top of Yoder Hill, which promises spectacular panoramic views of Johnstown.
