Psst...are you ready for the scare of a lifetime? It's that time of the year - when the ghost and ghouls roam free - and that can only mean one thing. The scariest haunted house in America, which happens to be right here in Pittsburgh, opens its doors for only the brave who dare to enter.
ScareHouse, named one of America's scariest haunted houses, has plenty of surprises waiting for Pittsburghers this fall, including...
ABC News dubbed ScareHouse America's scariest haunted house. ScareHouse was also named among the country's scariest haunted houses by USA Today and The Travel Channel.
A terrifying experience that may or may not include a 3D circus brimming with evil clowns, a hotel occupied by demented serial killers, and, of course, demons straight from the pits of...
Clowns don't do the trick when it comes to scaring you silly? Purchase a ticket for The Basement, a chill inducing experience only for those 18 and older.
You must sign a waiver to enter The Basement which features a variety of effects, including low lighting, water, and tight spaces. What makes it even scarier? Only two people are allowed in the basement at a time.
Guests can leave ScareHouse at any time but once you leave, you cannot return nor can your ticket be refunded.
Visitors to ScareHouse must be at least seven-years-old. Emergency exits are stragetically placed throughout the haunted house in case your little one (or you) gets scared and wants to leave.
ScareHouse welcomes all who dare to enter every Thursday and Sunday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and every Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. through October 29. Buy your tickets early because some times sell out.
Experience an encore of ScareHouse on November 3 and 4, 2017 for Turn Out The Lights. Your group will receive one glow stick that will help guide you through the haunted house.
Arrive for your scheduled ticket time at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the tour. Free parking is located at the Pittsburgh Zoo with a free shuttle to take you to and from the ScareHouse.
