1. Penn's Landing

Walking along Penn's Landing, you'll find pop-up parks like Spruce Street Harbor Park and the BlueCross River Rink. These parks make for great photography spots - I spent an hour shooting around there the other day! If you are looking for a cool angle, try the stone steps above the River Rink.

2. Reading Terminal Market

The bright colors and bustling atmosphere of Reading Terminal Market make this spot a favorite for street photographers and food photographers alike.

3. Eakins Oval

The architecture, views, and cool perspective from Eakins Oval make this another great spot to set up your camera and snap some photos. Shoot down Broad Street on a clear day for an iconic Philly scene.

4. Fairmont Park

Nature photographers will love the bright foliage and serenity of Fairmont Park. The Japanese Garden is particularly popular for photographers.

5. City Hall

Of course, City Hall makes the list. I don't know a single Philadelphia photographer who hasn't taken a million pictures around here. I love taking pictures from inside the building through the halls, or up Broad Street.

The South Street Bridge is a great spot to capture classic Philadelphia skyline photos! Catch a sunrise or sunset here for a truly spectacular shot.

While you're on South Street, stop by the Philadelphia Magic Gardens. This incredible mosaic art gallery is truly inspiring, and a great place to snap some photos.

9. James G. Kaskey Memorial Park

Located off of Hamilton Walk near 38th Street, the Kaskey Memorial Park is home to an unbelievable forest glade and biopond. Spot wildlife and bright flowers here, which makes for incredible nature photography right in the middle of the city.

10. Old City

Wandering through Old City is one way to stumble upon amazing things worth photographing. The architecture here is incredible, and the buildings date back to the founding of our country. Independence Mall is particularly scenic.

11. The Philadelphia Zoo

Animal lovers will enjoy shooting pictures at the Philadelphia Zoo! If you plan your shots carefully, you'll feel like you're on a big safari and not in an animal park!

12. Wissahickon Park / Valley Green
