Farmers market season has returned! That means we have quite a few farmers markets, right in the city, to check out on a weekly basis to stock up on fresh goodies, from fruits and veggies to fresh-baked breads and jams. If you’re up for a bit of a trek, however, plan a visit to Ligonier County Market, which boasts more than 130 vendors and both morning and evening hours during the 2020 season.
Roll down the windows, turn up the tunes, and follow your GPS to Ligonier Country Market, about an hour’s drive from downtown Pittsburgh.
The popular country market boasts more than 130 vendors, which means you are going to be spoiled for choices. But, you’ve only got a short window to snatch up the fresh fruits, veggies, and other goodies.
Hours at the country market are Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. from June through October. However, if you’re not a morning person, you definitely won’t miss out.
Because of the pandemic, the country market also has several guidelines to which all visitors are asked to adhere. You must wear a face covering or a face mask, maintain a social distance of six feet from other shoppers, and use hand sanitizer.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. Why I Love It: Fact: Airplanes are notoriously dry, dry, dry. No matter how much water I drink both before and during the flight, I always find myself in a hydration deficit for days. It all started with a dilapidated building Randy Gilson purchased more than two decades ago.
