Wouldn't it be amazing to travel through time? Back to the favorite moments in our lives? Or, even fast-forwarding to get a peek at what the future holds for us? Unfortunately, we can't travel through time, but we can get pretty close. Pennsylvania's bursting with old-fashioned eateries, drive-in theaters, and other attractions that give us a glimpse into yesteryear. And, if you're in the mood for a taste of the 50s, head straight to this old-fashioned drive-in restaurant in Pennsylvania.
Journey back to the 1950s when you dine at Hilltop Drive-In Restaurant in Pottstown, a popular spot for generations of Pennsylvanians.
In fact, the popular eatery originally opened as an ice cream shop in 1952. By 1958, it evolved into the popular drive-in restaurant it is today.
Grab a seat in the family-friendly restaurant. Then, start browsing the generous menu that's bursting with such popular dishes as broasted chicken, burgers, and hoagies.
Or, perhaps you feel like having a hearty sandwich? Choose from the homemade hot beef, the homemade meatball, or the classic grilled cheese.
Maybe, however, you'd just like a little taste of everything? Sample from the appetizer menu that stars such favorites as fried pickle chips, golden fries, and pierogies.
Don't forget to check out the old-fashioned drinks, too. How does a thick milkshake sound?
And be sure to save a little room for dessert, too.
Turn the clock back to the 1950s when you stop by Hilltop Drive-In, open
