It's time to mark the calendar with some of the fall traditions that make the season so perfect: Pumpkin patches, hay rides, and corn mazes. 1. Coolspring Maze – Mercer
Get ready for a pretty serious challenge as you stroll through the winding paths of the corn maze at Coolspring Corn Maze this fall. But, don't stop there. Once you escape the giant puzzle, hop aboard a wagon for a hay ride, check out the indoor hay maze, or go on a pony ride.
2. Lonesome Valley Farms Valley of Terror – Greensburg
Do you dare face the ghosts and goblins that haunt the Get Lost Corn Maze at Lonesome Valley Farms Valley of Terror? The three-acre corn maze features hints along the way to help you escape the giant maze. Don't forget to bring your flashlight to help you find your way out.
3. Gearhard Farms Corn Maze – Murrysville
Figure out the aerial message hidden in the giant corn maze at Gearhard Farms Corn Maze, a puzzle that's perfect for kids and adults of all ages. After you escape the corn maze, stop by the campfire to make smores (smores packages sold at the farm).
4. Simmons Farm – McMurray
Spend a lovely fall day at Simmons Farm where two corn mazes - one four acres and the other two acres - await to challenge you. Simmons Farm also features a petting zoo, a five-acre pumpkin patch, hay rides, and a human hamster wheel.
5. Trax Farms – South Hills
Climb atop the hill overlooking Trax Farms then take on the four-acre corn maze. The fall festival at Trax Farms includes plenty to do for the whole family: hayrides, pumpkin picking, a petting zoo, and a cozy campfire to help you stay warm.
6. Triple B Farms – Monongahela
Autumn adventure awaits at Triple B Farms during its annual Fall Festival. Find your way out of the confusing corn maze then enjoy some of the other activities at the farm, including making your own scarecrow, going pumpkin picking or apple picking, going on a hay ride, or indulging in delicious fall treats.
7. Shenot Farm & Market – Wexford
Head to Wexford where you'll find a slew of fun fall festivities at Shenot Farm & Market, including a challenging corn maze. The farm also features hayrides and pumpkin picking. Get lost in the corn maze starting in late September and running through the end of October.
