Each February, folks bundle up and head to Bend, Oregon for the ultimate winter festival: Oregon WinterFest.

This event, held each year on President's Day Weekend, packs a big punch, with an itinerary of icy activities sure to delight and entertain!

In true Oregon fashion, outdoor recreation is celebrated in a big way during this festival. From a Rail Jam contest to snowboarding demos, you'll be amazed by the athletic acumen that's on display!

Of course, gathering 'round the fire is another way to ward off the cold.

This winter festival features an entire fire pit competition, in fact: a collection of 40+ handmade fire pits ranging from classic s'mores stations to fantastical spaceships and fire-breathing dragons.
