The Crooked River Trail is a 4.5-mile hike out and back, and features rock formations, a river, and the opportunity for some bird watching.
The Crooked River Trail is considered an easy hike in Smith Rock State Park, and you can bring your leashed dog with you. You may even encounter some rock climbers as you go.
The Chute, .5 miles out and back, is a trail that heads towards the river. It is considered an easy hike.

The Wolf Tree Trail is 2.7 miles out and back. The trail goes down into the canyon, along the river.
It is considered to be easy, with a bit of an incline at the beginning and the end. Bring your dog, and enjoy watching the rock climbing – maybe it will inspire you to try your hand at it.
Rope de Dope is 1.3 miles out and back, a trail that includes stairs descending down towards the valley.
You really want to hike this trail just because of the name, right?
