3. The Talimena Scenic Highway

4. Pops 66

5. The Wichita Mountains
Okay, so maybe this one is a bit broad, but it's for good reason! Located in the southwestern portion of Oklahoma, the Wichitas are home to both a wildlife refuge and endless acres of hiking, wandering and exploring. Given Oklahoma's reputation as being "flat" (it is not!), this mountain out in the middle of nowhere is surely a feast for the eyes.

6. Natural Falls State Park
Here, you will find the cascading waterfalls that were used for filming the movie "Where The Red Fern Grows." It's lush, it's beautiful, and it's one of the most beautiful places in Oklahoma (or at least we certainly think so!). This one is definitely worth at least a day trip. Trust us.

7. Oklahoma Memorial Stadium
If you love crimson and cream, can shout BOOMER SOONER louder than everyone else, and you agree that orange-clad cowboys can just stay in Stillwater, nothing beats the view at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. There are usually events going on year-round, so make sure to visit throughout the year for the best experience. Do, however, double-check to make sure the stadium is open before you head out.

8. The Myriad Botanical Gardens
Situated in the heart of Oklahoma City, the Myriad Botanical Gardens is a 17-acre urban park and, of course, botanical garden. It's on the corner of Robinson & Reno, so you can't miss it. It's remarkably beautiful, and well worth a few hours of time spent getting lost within. Always make sure to check their hours before you go, as they can vary.

9. Skydance Bridge
This part-bridge, part-work-of-art was architecturally inspired by the state's bird, the scissor-tailed flycatcher. The pedestrian bridge is 380 feet long and the sculpture which makes it up stands 197 feet tall. Try and catch it at night to see the stunning changing-color LED lights!

10. Little Niagara Falls
Nestled within the Travertine Island Cultural Landscape is a super-popular, must-see waterfall known lovingly as (Little) Niagara Falls. This popular swimming hole is a fun and cooling place during the warmest months, and a place of frozen splendor in the cooler months.

11. The Philbrook Museum Of Art
Much as the name suggests, The Philbrook is a famous fine arts museum located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The outside gardens are just as impressive as the artwork on the inside! This highly celebrated annual festival is one of the nation's finest springtime attractions. It takes place in historic Muskogee, Oklahoma, inside Honor Heights Park.
