The downtown is bustling and well-supported by the community, and never is this more evident than during the annual Medina Ice Festival.
Every winter, the streets of downtown Medina are transformed into Ohio's very own winter wonderland for the Medina Ice Festival.
Held annually each February, this winter fest is four days of frozen *and* free fun that's not to be missed.
This year's Medina Ice Festival will be held Feb. 17-20, 2023.
From ice carving demos to fun activities, this is one winter festival in Ohio that's absolutely worth braving the cold for. What makes this festival extra fun is that everyone in town gets involved. Folks bundle up and come out to see what their favorite local businesses will conjure out of ice and imagination.
Don't leave early -- during evening hours, the ice sculptures are highlighted by color-changing, LED lights, which makes for a magical and marvelous spectacle.
