The Tri-State Warbird Museum officially opened to the public in 2004 and has been visited by millions of people since then.

Despite these impressive numbers, it remains a hidden gem destination in Batavia, east of downtown. If you have yet to discover this fascinating museum, you'll want to block off a Saturday afternoon or Wednesday evening.

The museum is only open on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Mark your calendar to come see the 22,000-square-foot museum that houses aircraft from WWII, as well as other artifacts and memorabilia. All ages are welcome at this interactive and inspiring destination.

You can tour the museum on your own or join in on a tour to hear the information and stories about the planes on display.

These WWII aircraft have been beautifully restored and really bring this time period to life. As many of us have no memory of living through this war, you can step back in time and appreciate what these men and women lived through decades ago.

There are regular displays and exhibits throughout the museum, as well as special exhibits that only run for a limited time.

This is included with your admission on this day and it will give you the chance to sit inside these historic planes. Admission to the museum is $12 and $7 for students and Veterans. World War II Veterans, as well as all Veterans in uniform, receive complimentary admission.

The Tri-State Warbird Museum is also a unique space for a meeting or event and makes for a memorable field trip destination for middle and high schoolers.
