Are you looking for a fun fall activity this season? Here's a festival that will take you right back to the 1800s, and it's loads of fun for the whole family.
The Old West Festival is held every fall In Williamsburg. You'll find it at 1449 Greenbush Cobb Rd.

You'll see folks in period costume strolling around and riding through town. Keep an eye out for Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, and other characters throughout your visit.
The festival has five venues where you'll find entertainment including magic shows, trick roping, Wild West stories and more.
There's also plenty of live music to get your feet tappin' and your boots stompin'.
In Kid's Country, youngsters can spend the afternoon panning for gold, riding the train, and practicing their skills with a bow and arrow or slingshot.
They'll also learn how to rope a "steer."
Experience shopping in the Old West in the 19th Century Town. You'll find shops that offer leather goods, pioneer dolls, pottery, Native American jewelry, hand-knit items, and much more. Now is a great time to get a little early Christmas shopping done.
Come to this fun festival hungry! Concessions include huge turkey legs, rattlesnake chili, buffalo burgers, and more.
You don't want to miss the Old West Festival this fall! It runs every Saturday and Sunday through October 14th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m..
