Both the exterior and interior are decked out for the holidays and BCM also hosts its Holiday Traditions event. Back for its 28th year, the event features a charming train display, as well as many holiday-themed events.

When you enter the museum any time of year, you're greeted with a train display on the first floor.

This is always a favorite spot for children, especially, as they can push the buttons and even crawl inside a bubble to feel a part of the display. During the holiday season through January 5th, there are several more whimsical scenes on display in the museum.

These displays are miniature recreations of towns, carnivals, a circus, and more.

The detail of the pieces is incredible and the patience and effort that go into putting it all together is equally admirable.

You'll find many scenes on display, many of which offer buttons to push that make the set come to life as the trains chug around.
