There are many ways to tour our beautiful city and several things worth taking the time to see. Most think of exploring a city when visiting, but it's also a great idea to treat your hometown like a vacation spot every once in a while. One fun-filled way to check out the Queen City whether you're a visitor or a local is to hop aboard the Pedal Wagon. This popular vehicle and party spot on wheels can be spotted all over the Tristate and most associate it with nighttime gatherings and lively crowds. It is great for that, but you can also see the beauty of our city on the Pedal Wagon, especially on the Cincinnati Mural Tour. This tour of the one-of-a-kind murals in Cincinnati is an excellent way to experience the Queen City.
Chances are that you've seen a group of people pedaling their way through Cincinnati aboard the fun-filled Pedal Wagon.
This unique gathering and tour in Cincinnati has expanded over the years to include a number of different excursions in various parts of the Tristate. It's a popular way to gather with friends, celebrate, and see the city.
However, you may not know that the Pedal Wagon has other opportunities that focus on the beauty and history of our city.
You can explore downtown and OTR, but you can also hop aboard the Cincinnati Mural Tour. This tour is held twice a day, during the day, so it tends to have a different atmosphere than those at night.
On this tour of the murals of Cincinnati, you'll meet up to board your Pedal Wagon and then have the benefit of both a captain and a tour guide throughout the experience.
You can get a group together that's large enough to take up the entire wagon, or join up with a public cruise. These tours are offered March through mid-November.
Along the tour you'll see about 14 of Cincinnati's incredible ArtWorks murals.
In fact, 10% of all proceeds from these tours go to the ArtWorks nonprofit. This is a great organization that is literally adding more beauty and vibrancy to our city every day.
The tour has a predetermined route, but you are welcome to suggest changes - just do so ahead of time. The captain may or may not be able to accommodate.
As you pedal around the city, you'll not only see these murals, but will also learn about their history and why they were chosen to decorate a wall in Cincinnati.
There will be many photo ops and chances to hop off and take pictures of some of your favorite murals.
You are also welcome to bring certain things on the Pedal Wagon with you, such as drinks. For their policy on that and other FAQs, be sure to visit the Pedal Wagon website, linked below.
After you've tried the Cincinnati Mural Tour, keep in mind that Pedal Wagon now offers something new: a Six-Seater Bike!
You will join a guide as you pedal around during a two-hour tour. Since these smaller bikes go faster than the wagons, you can cover more ground and have an entirely different experience than the larger Pedal Wagon cruises.
This fun-filled tour of the one-of-a-kind murals in Cincinnati is such a great way to learn about the creativity, history, and beauty of our city. Hop aboard the Pedal Wagon and experience the Queen City in a unique and memorable way. Have you taken a tour on a Pedal Wagon? Would you enjoy this one of the murals in Cincinnati?
