If you've ever strolled through the lovely village of Glendale, chances are you've noticed two things. First off, the town loves squirrels. And second, there's an adorable little brick building that houses Local Yokel Mercantile.
Although small, it's difficult to miss this charming destination. Local Yokel Mercantile is a true, old-fashioned general store that sells a wide variety of items and welcomes the community as a gathering spot for events and just simple conversation.
When you walk through the door, you may be greeted by a furry friend, but you'll always be welcomed with a smile and a hello. The store is filled with everything from daily necessities to unique gifts and handmade items.
The store feels historic, nostalgic, and vastly different from the large stores of today. Stop in to browse, pick up a few items, and chat with the owner and others who happen to be hanging out.
