With more than 4,000-ft. of zipline cable, this course is truly impressive. You'll see the forest in a way you've like never seen a forest before.
Close to Loudonville, Tree Frog Canopy Tours is located at 21899 Wally Rd., Glenmont, OH 44628.
Even if you don't have any zip line skill, that's perfectly OK. Each tour will have two guides to show you the ropes and help you feel comfortable.
It's a great place to try something new, conquer your fears and take in some natural beauty from a unique perspective.
Tours take about 2 and a half hours. You'll cross two skybridges along the way. There are seven ziplines and two rappels in the tour.
The ziplines range in length from 145-ft. to 1,100-ft., with the highest point on the course being 120-ft. in the middle of the 735-ft. zipline, according to the company's website.
What makes this zipline extra special is the dual cable it features, which allows for faster speeds and smoother rides. It's the only zipline tour in Ohio that uses this particular system.
Each zipline extends from one tree platform to another, with the average height of a platform being 45-ft.
If you can't take the tour in the summer, you can always opt for an autumn tour, which is actually extra beautiful with all the fall foliage.
The highest clocked speed at Tree Frog Canopy Tours is 51 mph. (Perhaps you'll beat it during your visit!)
