Cincinnati is arguably the festival capital of the world, as we love to get together to celebrate just about anything. One particular festival returning to Coney Island this year is a one-of-a-kind experience, as majestic hot air balloons glow against the night sky, with the classic fun of Coney and the flowing Ohio River as the backdrop. LaRosa's Balloon Glow is coming up on July 3rd and it's a can't-miss event this summer.

This year marks the 19th time LaRosa's and Coney Island have held this magical event.
Hot Air Balloons are the star of the show, which takes place on Monday, July 3rd. The colorful balloons will illuminate at dusk, adding a warm glow to the excitement of this classic amusement park.
The balloons are up and ready to view before dark.
You'll even be able to get up close and talk to the owners to learn more about these fascinating giants. Expect crowds, but don't let them that deter you from this entertaining event.
You are welcome to head to the park just to enjoy the balloons (you only have to pay for parking), but you can also make a day of it by starting or ending at Sunlite Pool.
This enormous pool is filled with fun in the water and will be open on the 3rd from 10am - 9:30pm. You can stay in the pool area to watch the fireworks (more on that in a minute!).
Coney's classic rides and attractions will also be open until 11pm on the 3rd.
If you've never spent time in the amusement park section of Coney, we highly recommend you stroll through and take a trip down memory lane.
At 10pm, the event features a spectacular fireworks show put on by Rozzi's.
The fireworks will shoot up above Lake Como, making for one of the most unique displays in the city.
The Balloon Glow at Coney Island has become a festival tradition in Cincinnati.
There's enough entertainment here to keep you and your family busy all day. Even if you just choose to visit for the balloons, this one-of-a-kind event will surely be an unforgettable experience.
