If you've lived in Cincinnati your entire life, chances are you think you've just about done it all and know all the best places to visit in Cincinnati. 1. Tour a cave.

2. Visit the Cincinnati Observatory.
If you've never spent time at this hidden gem, now is definitely the time. Cincinnati's Observatory is one of the oldest in the country and the historic and beautiful grounds alone are reasons to visit.
3. Fly through the trees on a zipline.

4. Visit the American Sign Museum.
Cincinnati is home to dozens of interesting museums, but this one seems to fly under the radar. The American Sign Museum is a colorful collection of retired neon signs, and it makes for an exciting excursion if you're looking for something fun and different. 5. Hike to a herd of bison.
Just south of Cincinnati, you'll find the historic site of Big Bone Lick State Park. The highlight of this interesting area is the 0.5-mile trail that takes you right past a (fenced in) herd of bison. It's quite the sight to witness America's largest land mammal up close and so close home!

6. Take a Riverboat Cruise.

7. Relax at a little-known vineyard.
East of Cincinnati, the little-known Harmony Hill Winery is a lovely family-owned vineyard that welcomes guests to wander the grounds and sample their delicious local wine. It's ideal for those weekend afternoons when you feel like you've tried it all.
8. Enjoy dinner aboard a historic train.
