The town's population is just over 1,000 people, but many more than that have stopped by this charming little pottery shop in the town. It has been named the premier pottery destination in North Dakota by quite a few places, and for good reason.
Upon stepping inside the warm and inviting store, you'll be overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of the many handmade pieces filling the shelves. Bowls, plates, mugs, soap dishes, and so many other creations are on display and most available for sale.
Tama Smith, the person responsible for these lovely works of art, makes every single piece by hand and with love and great care. She uses traditional methods including a massive wood-burning kiln to create her work.
Since Beach is located in the badlands of western North Dakota, Tama takes a lot of inspiration from the stunning natural scenery. You can get a piece of North Dakota that looks great as a table centerpiece or decoration in your home.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L.
