North Dakota has quite a few beautiful churches tucked away in various corners of the state, but one in particular is a masterpiece that deserves to be seen. It is located in a small town and is relatively unknown, but after you see the kind of gorgeous art pieces held inside and out you'll want to visit it. It is a marvel of architecture, sculpture, and paintwork. Take a look for yourself:
This stunning church can be seen from miles around, standing tall in the town of Hague, North Dakota. The town only has a population of about 71.
This is St. Mary's Catholic Church, rebuilt in 1929 after a fire destroyed the original church. What stands today is absolutely breathtaking inside and out.
When you step inside, you'll be overwhelmed with amazing works of art and intricate details. The high altar will immediately draw your eye to its beautiful sculptures and artwork.
Looking toward the high arching ceilings, you'll find amazing murals and paint works that will almost make you feel like you're in an art gallery.
The St. Mary's Catholic Church is truly a work of art that can be appreciated by anyone.
